Shaky Knees Artist Spotlight ::: The Orwells

Hail Hail Rock N' Roll. The Orwells are doing it right. Young, cavalier, and wild they will melt your face.

From the suburbs of Chicago, these five guys are setting a precedence themselves. Already known for their insane live performances (see Letterman)  The Orwells are most certainly going to give zero fucks about what anyone thinks. Which I dig. All the guys have been family friends for years and grew up together. Yes, two of them are twins and two of them are cousins. While in high school they were discovered by the great music blogger Justin Gage of Aquarium Drunkard, were signed to his label, and recorded their first EP Other Voices. Therefore, in 2013 they graduated high school and haven't looked back.

With the release of "Mallrats (La La La)" The Orwells were quickly being blogged about and turning heads. And by "turning heads" I mean, banging heads. Their most recent album Disgraceland is full of thrashing anthems. The Orwells are an explosion of energy and I can promise you they won't disappoint.

  1. Once you've taken in the unique décor at these party venues, the hardest part is to decide whether to go upstairs or downstairs. With a large open floor plan, you'll find bars on both levels, and someone will always come by to serve you matter where you decide to hang out.
