An Athens four piece band with the slogan 'Bringing you all the hits from the 70s, 80s, and 90s', was recently featured on NPR's All Songs Consider as a band that should be bigger than they are. With the increase publicity hopefully this band can add to the list of great musical groups to come out of the Classic City.

Phosphorescent
Though Matthew Houck has since moved to Brooklyn, he gained his start as the band Phosphorescent in Athens, GA back in 2001. His latest album with the incredible name, Muchacho is set to release on March 19th. The first single, Song for Zula, off the record is already receiving well deserved attention.
